- The cheapest may not be the best for you. Sometimes if a Driving School charges less they may draw out your training so you pay more in the long run
- Ask for home pick up, it should be free
- If you are paying for a 1 hour lesson make sure that is what you get
- No instructor should ever shout at you or upset you in anyway
- Make sure the instructor is able to charge for lessons, check for a ADI licence, this should be displayed, if not walk away
- Can your Driving School help with your theory and supply a training room and or discs and books to help you at no extra cost
- Is the car and the instructor clean and tidy and does the car have dual controls
- Apply for your theory as soon as you start training and ask for advice from your instructor about when to take your practical
- Make sure your Instructor keeps records of your progress and offers you a Log Book, so you know what you have done and where you are
- Ask your instructor about Pass Plus
